Patient and Family Advisory Council

Your voice! Your health!

Be a part of the Madigan health care process and apply to be on the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). The PFAC partners patients and families with members of the healthcare team to explore opportunities to improve the overall experience of care. The PFAC provides a “Voice of the Customer” forum to facilitate dialogue between the Madigan team and representatives of the beneficiary population. Through their unique perspectives, patients and families provide input on availability of services, clinical quality, and experience of care.

Who's Eligible to Apply?

All patients of Madigan Army Medical Center 18 years of age or older are eligible. Exceptions will be made for high school-age Madigan patients, so we may get the unique perspective of our adolescent population.

How Do I Apply?

Contact a Patient Advocate at (253) 968-1145, Option 4, with your contact information and your interest in joining the council.

Why Do I Have to Apply for the PAC?

A mix of age, gender, and military status will ensure that the PFAC is a true sample of our entire patient population. The council chairpersons will select members based on these criteria.

When Does the PAC meet?

The PFAC currently meets monthly. Council members do attend additional meetings with Madigan staff from time-to-time.
