From the Madigan Gate, turn left at the third traffic light on to Wilson Road. Continue past Keeler Gym and the Special Forces compound, turn left on to West Hayes or West Johnson and park near Building 9932A/9932B.

About

Madigan Army Medical Center is home to ten medical technician training programs and graduates approximately 200 students per year. Students participating in these programs receive didactic and clinical training in both simulated and real-world clinical environments. Students must demonstrate competency related to their specialty accreditation bodies in order to graduate. Their training is conducted to the highest standards of accreditation including offering students in their respective career fields the opportunity to take national certification and accreditation exams in Radiology, Nursing, and many others.

Soldiers arrive to Joint Base Lewis-McChord directly from completing basic training and phase I of their advanced individual training. They are assigned to the Troop Battalion of Madigan Army Medical Center for phase II of their advanced individual training in their Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and Career Management Field (CMF) 68 series.

Once training at Madigan is completed, medic and technician Soldiers are assigned to their first duty station in a military treatment facility or a tactical medical unit.

  • 68K Medical Laboratory Technician Program

  • 68N Cardiovascular Technologist Program
  • 68P Radiology Technologist Program
  • 68U Ear, Nose, and Throat Technologist Program
  • 68Y Eye Specialist Program
