About

Our services range from clinical pathology such as phlebotomy (blood drawing), chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and anatomic pathology including surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy. In addition the Department of Pathology is responsible for the oversight, preparation, storage, and administration of blood products.

The first totally automated lab in the Department of Defense, Madigan's CORE Lab, was unveiled to staff and guests at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Madigan Army Medical Center on Aug. 23, 2017.
