Madigan Rideshare Program – Commute Trip Reduction
 
Madigan Army Medical Center fully supports the Army’s Mass Transportation Benefit Program (MTBP) with alternative commute solutions for you to save money on gas, vehicle wear and tear, commute stress, and may even help you receive a discount on your auto insurance. 
 
The MTBP provides up to $315 monthly to cover the cost of vanpooling or taking a bus/train/ferry to work per person for DoD civilian employees and Military members.  In most cases, that means NO OUT OF POCKET COST for you.  Catch the vanpool, bus, ferry, or train—ride free and comfy from home and work!  Ride a couple times a week or every day.

Vanpool: Join a Vanpool, make new friends, reduce stress, and save money. Transit agencies provide the van, insurance and maintenance. You pay a fare based on your round trip mileage and the number of people in the van. Vans can hold from 5-15 people.   If on any day an emergency comes up, you are eligible to receive 100% reimbursement for a taxi/uber/lyft ride home (depending on the transit agency.)
