About Us

Maternal Fetal Medicine Service refers to the specialized care of pregnant women and their fetuses. Our maternal fetal medicine specialists are experienced in a wide variety of complex maternal-fetal conditions and will partner with you to keep both you and your baby healthy.

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Service at Madigan provides full consultation availability 24 hours a day for complicated and high risk obstetric patients to include diabetes, hypertension, fetal diagnosis, Medical Genetics and prenatal therapy.

It is comprised of six board certified maternal-fetal medicine physicians, a perinatal nurse practitioner, and an ultrasound clinic staffed with five highly qualified ultrasound technicians who perform more than 8,000 ultrasound examinations per year at the Antenatal Diagnostic Center.

Madigan is also the Department of Defense’s only graduate medical education program to offer a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship and as such is on the forefront in fetal medicine and diagnostics.

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Service is located in Madigan Army Medical Center and can be reached by taking I-5 Exit 122, traveling straight on Jackson Avenue and then turning onto Madigan Avenue to enter the Hospital Tower East Yellow Parking Lot. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Service is on the 3rd Floor of the Hospital Tower.
