Data Science Research Service (DSRS)
ABOUT
The mission of the Department of Clinical Investigation Data Science Research Service (DSRS) is to enable Madigan researchers and affiliates to conduct and communicate research of the highest possible quality.
FACILITIES
Offices are located within the administrative area of the Department of Clinical Investigation.
PERSONNEL
DSRS is staffed with a lead statistician, statistician and a data scientist who are poised to provide statistical guidance for protocol and grant proposal development as well as ongoing support for data-driven research studies.
CAPABILITIES
DSRS provides consultation services in one-on-one sessions. Common support provided by DSRS include:
- Preparatory to Research
- Statistical Consultation to include study design, sample size estimation, statistical methodology, reporting, interpretation of research results, and evaluation of translational/clinical research for presentation and publication
- Surveys to include survey design, creation, deployment, collection and analyses of data
- Data science research to include design and creation of data repositories, database management, data extraction and integration, and machine learning and AI support
- Group training is available upon request.
