Winder Clinic
Unit-specific Instructions for care and medical readiness

  • Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sick call time is 6:30-7 a.m.
  • The front door is the only entrance point for the clinic. Soldiers reporting for sick call will be screened outside the front of the clinic. Patients will be given a check-in card for Pharmacy, Lab, and Radiology (eight cards per area) at the front door to decrease amount of people in Winder at a given time.

Appointments required

Patients must call 253-477-0900 and schedule an appointment with their primary care manager if no COVID-19 symptoms. No walk-in appointments.

Periodic Health Assessments

Part II conducted telephonically. Service members need to complete Part I online and call 253-477-0900 to schedule an appointment. 

Optometry

The Optometry Clinic is fully operational. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:15-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Acute sick call is 7-10:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. We will see service members for urgent issues and physical on a walk-in basis. Call 253-477-0896/3788 to schedule an appointment for all routine care.

Audiology

Audiology is closed at Winder Clinic. Call the Appointment Line at 800-404-4506 to schedule at Madigan Annex.

Radiology

The Radiology Clinic is fully operational. Open 7:30 am to 4 p.m.; closed noon-12:45 p.m. for lunch.

Dental

Fulton Dental Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for Class 3 treatment needs and Class 4 exams ONLY. No cleaning and no Class 2 at this time. Sick call hours are 7-9:30 a.m. for urgent dental needs. Call 253-966-9960 for appointment.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy Clinic at Winder is fully operational. Soldiers can pick up their prescriptions during normal duty hours. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1-3:30 p.m. 

Laboratory

Lab is fully operational and will see patients on a walk-in basis. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; closed 8-9 a.m. on Thursdays.

Immunizations

Patients must call 253-477-0900 to schedule an appointment for immunizations. No Walk-in appointments. 

Physicals

We're still conducting physicals (Schools, ETS, Chapter, ABCP). We have briefings on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., where SCMH will provide the Soldier/Escort the packet and explain the process to completing their physical. The briefings are held at the front of the clinic outside of the building.

Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Clinic is fully operational. Physical Therapy sick call for acute injuries only, 6:30-9 a.m. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 a.m. to noon and 1-3:30 p.m., and Thursday. 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Important Advisory Regarding Flu-like Symptoms

Soldiers who are experiencing flu-like symptoms (to include, but not limited to, fever, cough, shortness of breath, body aches, or other respiratory symptoms) should report during sick call, 6:30-7 a.m. After clinic hours and on weekends, Soldiers are encouraged to call the Military Health System Nurse Advice Line at 800-TRICARE (874-2273), Option 1.
