Pediatric General Inpatient Ward

Our Pediatric General Inpatient Ward is comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants, as well as physicians and ancillary services working in an interdisciplinary approach to provide quality patient-centered care to acutely and chronically-ill pediatric patients and their family members. Our goal as a team is to provide safe, quality care to our patients in a timely and courteous manner while promoting quality customer service.

Intensive Care Unit

Madigan’s ICU is an 18-bed critical care area that provides comprehensive care to critically ill adult surgical, medical and trauma patients. The unit consists of 18 individual rooms that have the capability to care for patients requiring advanced medical/surgical care, negative pressure, dialysis, obstetrical monitoring or anyone at high risk for life-threatening health problems. The ICU also provides after-hours coverage of Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Post-Anesthesia Care.

Critical care nurses have training in taking care of patients who are chronically ill, at risk for deadly illnesses or trauma.
