In-person service only. Active-duty service members reporting to sick call will receive a same-day appointment with a Department of Family Medicine provider. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, whole-person, multi-disciplinary health care for our patients to support our entire military community and the readiness mission.
Each patient has access to a team of health care staff – physicians, physician assistants, nurses, clinical psychologists, clinical pharmacists, physical therapists, social workers, and case management professionals to develop a comprehensive, personalized health care plan for best health outcomes.
Our "Medical Home" model supports an interdisciplinary approach, delivering evidence-based, comprehensive, coordinated patient care, and actively engaging patients as partners in their health.
- The MHS GENESIS Patient Portal is the most efficient and secure method of communicating with the provider team. It provides a summary of your most recent clinical visit, labs, upcoming appointments, and gives you the ability to request medication renewals. This is the preferred method of communicating with your provider.
- You may also consider contacting the Military Health System's Nurse Advice Line for advice or assistance with your health care needs before deciding to schedule an appointment.

Pacific Integrated Referral Management and Appointing Center (PIRMAC): 800-404-4506
- Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed on Federal holidays) Call PIRMAC to schedule an appointment with your care team. Madigan is expanding the availability of virtual appointments and nurse visits. Depending on your needs, a video or telephone appointment can be booked as an alternative to an in-person appointment. Appointment Cancellations 24/7 (voicemail option available).

Madigan Pharmacy
The Madigan Main Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed the second Wednesday of each month until 10:30 a.m., and closed on federal holidays.

Medication Renewal Requests
Using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal is the fastest, most efficient way to request medication renewals from your provider. Be sure to include the medication name(s) in your message.
You may call the Clinic Nurse Line at 253-968-0770 and leave a detailed message, including your name, date of birth and DOD ID number, and the medication you wish to refill. We will answer these requests as quickly as we can, in the order they are received.

Immunizations
Routine and Seasonal Vaccines are offered at annual visit and well visits. TRICARE covers routine child and adult vaccines at TRICARE Network pharmacies. For Additional information on Network pharmacies, go to

The JBLM Travel Clinic p
rovides recommended immunizations, medications, and safety briefings for active-duty service members and beneficiaries over the age of 18 traveling abroad for leisure travel.
